Welcome

Siete capitati qui per caso o ci avete proprio cercato nella rete? Non importa, in ogni caso, name of the band vi dà il benvenuto! Ci presentiamo: siamo Andrea, Mauro e Uliano, ovvero una chitarra, una batteria, una voce abbracciata ad un contrabbasso.

Da cosa nasce questo progetto? Da un desiderio comune: condividere una passione, fra noi e con gli altri, giocare con la musica. Che sia una serata in un locale o un evento memorabile (matrimonio, laurea o compleanno), vogliamo partecipare con la nostra atmosfera, inedita e raffinata. L’idea è quella di animare ogni evento con il nostro stile, esserci per il piacere del pubblico, accompagnare, senza mai invadere.

Ognuno di noi ha la propria formazione musicale, propri gusti e miti della musica e in questo progetto combiniamo le diverse prospettive, per dare un’impronta originale al nostro sound. L’attenzione va ad ogni dettaglio, che vogliamo sia sempre ricercato: dalla selezione del repertorio, al tipo di interpretazione, al genere di eventi, fino al nostro outfit e all’allestimento scenico. Tutto porta la nostra firma, tutto ci rappresenta: it’s Name of the band style!

Riproponiamo pezzi insoliti, quelli che non ti aspetti, con un arrangiamento capace di sorprendere. Non ci “esibiamo”, ma condividiamo la nostra musica e tutte le emozioni e reazioni che innesca… un sorriso, uno sguardo che si accende, un brivido, un piedino che batte, una testa che ondeggia.

Music of the band

Da dove nasce il “repertorio”? Da tutto ciò che si intona ai nostri gusti musicali, da cedimenti nostalgici per il passato o da folgorazioni per nuove intriganti sonorità.
La nostra musica si diffonde sempre carezzevole e proponiamo arrangiamenti in modalità acustica di brani celebri rivisitati in chiave vagamente jazz o swing o al ritmo di bossa nova.

Immaginate la nostra playlist come un viaggio nel tempo musicale:
gli anni ’60, con Beatles e Rolling Stones, e poi arrivano gli 80s dei Police, Duran Duran o Spandau Ballet, e torniamo al presente con Morcheeba, Adele, Stereophonics, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, One Republic ed altri ancora.
